St Jude has always come through for me in time of need or lack of hope. Some of the answers to my prayers have been true miracles and quite unbelievable. When my daughter was applying to colleges twenty years ago she only wanted to go to New York University. I told her we should prayer to St. Jude and she just shook her head at me. I put my medal under her pillow and prayed the 9 day novena by myself. I then took out an ad in the St. Paul Pioneer Press to thank St. Jude and waited. On Day 9 the phone rang and Katie and I were in the kitchen. St. Jude had only two hours left until Day nine (after I finished the novena and placed the ad); It was NYU saying if Katie would go to Prague for the first semester she could attend (war was breaking out in the Middle East and kids were reluctant to go to Prague).
She , of course, consented to go to Prague and then return to the US to attend NYU in New York. I told her to go look under her pillow where she found the medallion. I told her about the novena and she hasn’t taken the medallion off for twenty years. She’s now a confident attorney. There are other stories I have, one even more miraculous than this one. Thank you, St. Jude, for the many favors granted to. me over the years. In return I promise to make your name known and cause your name to be invoked.
